At the turn of the century, Hugo Sohmer built a small piano for his newborn grandchild, giving rise to the term “Baby Grand.” Manufactured under the care of Hugo’s grandson Harry, the piano factory was located in Long Island, very close to the Steinway factory. The pianos at this factory were of exceptional quality and built to last. Decades later, the 1970 Walnut-finished Sohmer is still a gem. Now on cozy winter nights after a long day’s work, you can finally recuperate the way you’ve always wanted. Some hot chocolate, a crackling fire place, a little piece of music and your new Sohmer baby grand. It’s the perfect ending to the perfect night.
