this should show up
We have had the opportunity to place Essex Pianos in our studios here at Eastern Michigan University. They are serving us quite nicely. The tuning is stable and the tone is clear and rich. They have a much fuller sound than expected thanks to the widened tail area giving it a larger soundboard. The studio professors are delighted with these instruments. One of them has already purchased one for his home.

We are delighted with the Boston practice uprights purchased this summer! The Boston sound is rich and grand-like and the action is responsive. They’re definitely Steinway products! Each piano has its own personality and we’ve found that students are drawn to particular instruments based on their individual characters. Thanks again for these fine pianos.

It's the place to go if you’re looking for quality pianos of any kind. If you need piano tuning or reconditioning they can help you as well. The Steinway Piano Gallery is also home to some of the finest classical as well as jazz performances. Easy to find at M-5 and Maple Road.

The show was fantastic. The pianists were true professional entertainers.

Indeed, the Steinway sound pedigree is quite evident in both the Boston and Essex pianos. Steinway engineers have done a remarkable job of creating instruments whose tonal values emerge from the American Tonal School… They have achieved a masterful feat: making the classic duplex design of Steinway available at an accessible price. No other pianos can make that boast.
Bob Grijalva, Assistant Professor at University of Michigan School of Music
Wonderful technicians - unmatched quality work! I have Boston UP126-PE brand new from here. Takes some time to break in, but as the time goes and played more and more - of course with the technicians assisting with adjustments during break-in period - the better this instrument sounds. Fills my house up with wonderful music! Thanks to Jim, Cliff, and Tim! They make sure you are more than happy with what you purchase from the gallery.

First of all, the Steinway Gallery is a beautiful building and their pianos and service cannot be matched. I am a professional musician and was pleasantly delighted to play pianos from Steinway. They truly are the instruments of the immortals. Also, the sales staff is very knowledgeable. I never realized how much goes into making a Steinway and how selective they are about choosing woods and just the quality of craftsmanship in general. I would recommend the Steinway Gallery to anyone, regardless of whether they are looking for a 100k piano or a 1k piano. Will visit again for concerts.

Best place for pianos in metro Detroit.

Nice place I am not much of a piano guy. But if I was looking to buy one this would be the place.

I love Steinway Piano Gallery! Tim is one of the nicest people to talk to and will do whatever he can to make his customer's happy. My daughter Lindsey took lessons there for at least 6 years and we loved it. The place is also beautiful and has a really nice performance hall.

“Thank you so much for your services and the use of your lovely building for our Student Achievement Testing.” – Livonia Area Piano Teachers Forum

Once again I applaud you as our EMU Steinway partners! Thank you very much for providing our students and faculty the week-long adventure with the Horowitz piano and video. Wish you could have heard how wonderfully the piano sounded in the EMU Honors College Auditorium. Miraculous! The total experience rippled through our school – for students and faculty. Wow. Powerful. You made this happen. Also wish to especially applaud Wilbur Miller’s conscientious and idea-filled work. He makes it easy to be successful with such efforts as the Horowitz was. He remains a pleasure through planning through execution through follow up. A person of integrity, one to be trusted.
